4-panel comic from Adventures with Titan. Panel 1: Titan's hooman carries a basket of leafy greens away from Titan. Titan stares from the bottom right corner. A stray leaf has fallen out of the basket without the hooman noticing. "How to get Titan to eat vegetables..." ""Not for doggos," says the hooman. Panel 2: Titan carefully picks up the leaf. Panel 3: The humans looks back from the left side of the panel and locks eyes with Titan who has the leave in his mouth. They stare at each other in silence. Panel 4: Titan's hooman lifts a hand and says, "Hey... mine" without much expression. Titan hastily chomps the leaf to eat it before she can take it away.

Titan hates icky leaves. And personally, I don’t care if he eats them or not. But when he thinks he shouldn’t… he will. And with gusto.

Another comic artist with dogs has said something similar: Her dogs get fresh veggies daily for snacks, and when new arrivals see everyone else eating “these strange things,” the new dogs will follow suit. Like the world’s friendliest peer pressure. ;-P
